Future Farmer & Daddy

Of course Henry is already being groomed to work on the farm and his grandpa got him the Farming Learning Center for Christmas. Here is a quick video of him feeding his chickens. So proud of him that he figured out how to do this so quickly. Once again it's the little things that remind me how fast he is growing up and just makes me smile so big as he learns new tricks and how to really play with his toys and others. So fun!

This video just melts my heart. Henry definitely knows what daddy means and this shows you how excited he got when his daddy got home from work today. So precious. Turn up the volume to hear "daddy".

Christmas Recap

I literally took 150 pictures over the two days of celebration this past week and will not overwhelm you with all those pics! But of course I will share some favorites. Christmas this year was amazing. There is just something special with having a little one around the holidays and especially watching them experience all the chaos. Henry was a trooper and made it through all 5 Christmas events...yes 5! Needless to say we need an extra room for just his toys...absolutely insane! He was getting bored with his current toys so it's been really fun to watch him kick in high gear again playing with all the new trucks, drums, scooters, balls, you name it! I can't believe we will be adding to this collection so soon as his 1st bday is less than a month away! Where has the time gone?

Henry's new chair...before he climbed over it backwards and landed on his face on the hardwood floors. Yes, there was blood, swollen lip and a crying mommy. First blood wound and on Christmas Eve of all days. It looks good as new now and after about 10 minutes he was back to his happy self.

Who's that baby in the mirror?

Henry LOVES to look and laugh at the baby in the mirror. I have caught him a few times in our guest room mirror just giggling at the baby looking back at him. The little moments really are the best. Here are a couple at bath time...love his little cheeks!

My Joy

Two of my most favorite people in the entire world...my mommy and baby H (of course Chris is right in the mix too!). I can't explain the joy it brings to watch them interact. He loves his nauna so much and we are so thankful for all that she does for us and our little family. I simply cannot explain how thankful and blessed I feel to have such an incredible mother, only if everyone in the world was as lucky as we are. Love you nauna! XOXO

Cougar Mountain Zoo

This morning Chris, Henry and I headed out to the Cougar Mountain Zoo in Issaquah to see the Reindeer and take pictures with Santa. It was so nice as there was only one other family in the entire place (the benefit of going on a Tuesday morning I guess). We took a stroll through the zoo first and were able to get really close to a lot of the animals. Henry really enjoyed seeing all these new creatures and chatted away as we strolled around. He also did great with Santa! I thought for sure he would have a melt down! So proud of him.

Santa Baby

Checking out the Christmas Tree for the first time....seriously his face prior to this when he woke up to a sparking tree was just priceless. He just sat there in awe for several minutes. Absolutely warmed my heart.
