We kicked Henry's first Thanksgiving off with brunch at our house with my parents. It is always a treat to have my parents down to our house for some yummy food and play time. I tried to give Henry some soft potatoes to eat and he did not like the texture at all and choked a bit, which in turn caused a bit of a mess and he ended up in the bath tub. He wasn't too upset with that as he loves the bath. But gave us a bit of a scare with the choking episode. This whole eating finger food thing and drinking out of a sippy cup is not easy around here. He loves pureed food and his bottle....more about that another day. Anyway, couple cute pics of him in his robe after his bath with nauna.
For dinner we headed over to Grandpa Dan's (Chris Dad) house. Henry was of course sitting opposite of Grandpa at the other head of the table. Too cute. I don't think he quite realizes the shoes he will be filling being the first grandson!

Of course we needed a couple messy face shots. And, if you notice in the second photo Henry just had to check out what brand the plates were. My little detailed man....hmmm, wonder where he get's that from?
And, of course some play time before dessert. Which he wanted nothing to do with. I really was hoping to let him taste some pumpkin pie but he didn't want anything but his pureed baby food. He has no idea what he is missing out on! I even put a plate of food in front of him to play with and he wasn't interested!
