Happy Halloween!
Today is officially the last day of the U-Pick Pumpkin Patch. The boys are definitely ready for it to be over. The sunny weather this year really kept them busy. Anyway, here are a couple pics of the farm this past October. Check out the enormous cabbage...16 lbs!!!

Nursery
So I am in the process of buying a new Digital SLR camera and was going to wait to show any pics of the nursery until I get the new camera as I am not happy with how the color shows or the overall quality of the pics but I can't resist. You can at least get the right idea. Once the bedding and glider arrive I will take more pics. We also are working on getting wall decorations up so there is still work to be done.

Outdoors For All Gala
This past weekend I attended the Outdoors For All 2008 Gala Auction with my parents. This is the third year I have attended and it has become an annual tradition for us. My mom and Bill have been volunteering for this foundation for over 10 years. Outdoors For All is an amazing organization that helps children and adults with diabilities to get outdoors and enjoy activities such as skiing, biking, hiking, etc. For many without Outdoors For All they would never get to feel the rush of skiing down a mountain or simply getting outside to enjoy the fresh air many of us take for granted. Really an incredible group of people and I admire my mom and Bill so much for their dedication and passion for this organization.

Maternity Costumes
So I have been thinking, if I wanted to dress up for Halloween what in the heck could I be??? What could I possible fit into??? Well, I did a simple search online and came up with some really funny ideas. I don’t think I will actually be dressing up as I am planning to just keep it low key and hand candy out but you never know! Anyone else have any good ideas? It is on a Friday so maybe I will get a wild hair.....

My favorite might be the pregnant soccer mom! LOL

One step closer...
Well, we did it! The nursery is as complete as it can get right now and looks amazing! The only thing we are waiting for is the glider (chair) and the bedding. Other than that the room is all put together and just needs some decorations, which is going to be so fun. I have some great ideas that I will share once I get them up (top secret for now). Chris is getting us a new USB cord for the camera and I will download some pics later this week.
Also, I went on the birth center tour today at Valley Medical with my mom. Chris was working hard at the pumpkin patch and couldn't join us. There were several other families there and majority were due in January as well. It actually made me feel pretty good as I "matched" up well in terms of size with the other moms. It's so hard to know how you look when you have nothing to compare yourself to. I know we all have different body types and will carry pregnancy differently but it was so nice to see that I was measuring about the same as the other gals and look pretty darn good if you ask me! ;o) As for the tour, it was short and sweet but gave me just the right information to start visualizing my birth. Many of you know I just have to have a visual of my surrounding to really get prepared and focused for things. I often say to my friends when they move, I need to come over and see your place so I can visualize where you are sitting when we are chatting on the phone. I like to "see" moments in my mind. The birth suite is very clean and cozy for a hospital. It's not quite as big and home like as a true birth center (outside of a hospital) but all and all it is very nice. It is all becoming so real now. At the end of this week I will officially be in the final trimester and getting a step closer to meeting our little boy. I just love him so much already and can't wait to kiss his cute little cheeks.

The Roller
Our little guy is not only a really good kicker he actually rolls around a lot. Before I ever felt a kick I described a sensation of someone dipping their shoulder and flopping over in my belly. I wasn't positive if that was what I was feeling but I now know that is exactly what I was feeling. I get to feel him everyday moving around and it just instantly puts a smile on my face or makes me stop and take a deep breathe depending on what he kicks. He still has a lot of space inside so he makes a lot of movement all over the place. It's really fun to sit and watch your belly move around. Tonight was the first time I not only saw a kick but actually saw some body part roll from the right side of my belly to the left side. REALLY CRAZY! He's still so small it's hard for me to tell what body part it actually was. He seems to really be getting familiar to his home and I think has checked out every part of his home....a home that will get much more tight for him as he packs on the lbs! Anyway, everything is going really well and we are about 2/3 of the way done and will officially be in the 3rd trimester very shortly! Can't believe he will be here soon!

100 Days..belly shots!
I have officially hit the 100 day mark. This feels like such a big milestone to jump into the double digit numbers tomorrow! Today is such a beautiful sunny fall day. I even saw a bald eagle on the way to work…wonder if that is good luck? ;o) I also have a team event this afternoon and Henry gets to take part in his first round of bowling! Let’s hope my extra weight doesn’t tip me forward down the lanes..lol! Also, many of you have been asking for more belly shots so here you go!
